Barachois Pond Provincial Park

A park on Newfoundland's west coast, twenty kilometers from Stephenville, where yellow birch and maple mix into the spruce and balsam fir around Barachois Pond. The Erin Mountain trail climbs 3.5 kilometers through the color to a rocky summit at 340 meters, with views across Bay St. George to the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
