What's New: A Map of 465 Fall Destinations

We just rebuilt how you find things to do in the fall. The Explore hub is now a single map-led page combining the color tracker with 465 destinations (orchards, scenic drives, hikes, covered bridges, corn mazes, festivals, and more) across the US, Canada, and beyond.

What changed

Every destination pin is now color-coded by category, so leaves, harvest activities, treats, spooky attractions, and historic towns are visually distinct at a glance without opening a single card. Seasonal spots like corn mazes and pumpkin patches show a live open/upcoming/closed status pulled from their actual announced dates, not a guess.

Tap a pin and the popup shows an autumn color meter for that exact spot, tuned to wherever the date slider is set, useful for a place like Vermont where color can swing widely across a single week. Trail stats (distance, elevation gain, difficulty) are starting to roll out on hiking destinations too.

Every spot also has its own page now, with peak-timing detail, nearby spots in the same region, and day-trip city suggestions, reachable straight from the map or from region and city pages.

Near-me search

If you allow location access, Explore can show you what's within range right now, ranked by distance, without needing to know a state or region name first.

For business owners

If you run an orchard, farm stand, cider mill, or other seasonal attraction and want it added or corrected on the map, use the list your business form. It goes straight to our team.
