An Orthodox monastery founded in 1020 on a cliff above the Radika River gorge inside Mavrovo National Park, rebuilt after an 1863 fire and known for a wooden iconostasis carved between 1829 and 1835. The five-minute approach walk from the gate climbs through pine forest that colors through October.
