A stone-built Zagorohoria village at 960m under the sheer Astraka towers of the Tymfi massif, its slate roofs and cobbled lanes largely unchanged for generations. Papigo is the usual trailhead for the alpine lake Drakolimni and sits a short drive from the Vikos Gorge rim.
