A glacial trough between the granite Horns and Cerro Paine Grande, reached by trail from Lago Pehoé past lenga forest that turns deep red through April. The hanging Glaciar Francés calves audibly from the valley floor, and the trail's end at Mirador Británico frames peaks on three sides.
