A stone-built village at 770m below the Albanian Alps, its 19th-century kulla tower and hillside church backed by beech forest that colors from late September into November. Trails from the village center lead to the Blue Eye springs and over Valbona Pass into the neighboring valley.

A glacially carved valley in the Accursed Mountains (Bjeshkët e Namuna), its beech forest floor rising to limestone walls over 2,400m. A 25-meter cascade on Theth valley's western slope, dropping through a narrow limestone trough below Boshi peak. The walk from Theth village center takes about 50 minutes through beech and pine forest, declared a natural monument in 2002 and busiest in September and October's cooler light.
