Covered Bridge Park

Wisconsin's last surviving covered bridge, built in 1876 from pine logs hauled in from near Baraboo and held together with hardwood pins instead of nails. It carried traffic for 85 years before a new bridge went in alongside it, and the county kept it standing as a small park a few miles north of Cedarburg, an easy stop for fall color photos on the drive up from Milwaukee.
